Approx. 41km (26 miles)

As I approached the village of Heyshott I headed to the back of the village hall where a footpath took me across a field and over to the bottom of a hill. The grand Heyshott Hill that from the road did not look too bad. Well looking up at that hill as I was stood at the bottom, I started to have seconds thoughts about what I had let myself in for. It really was a steep hill, but convinced myself I could do it.
