November 23 was definitely the month for rain and not the ideal month to take on another fundraising challenge!!

This time, I had chosen to join the ‘Walk 60 Miles in November for Prostate Cancer Research’.

Knowing that 60 miles in a month, is often what I was now walking during the week, I thought I would up the goal and aim for 240 miles which worked out approx. 8 miles a day, and at the time seamed doable…

Venturing off on the first few days in the rain, it was much harder and slower walking.  I was forever dodging the muddy puddles, the streams and rivers that were developing around the woods had become at times impassable.  I carried on though, heading out early in the morning often at sunrise, waterproofs on, coming back with a very wet and smelly dog, and plenty of dirty wet clothes around with the evidence I had been out yet again across the countryside.
