2 fantastic walks along the #chichestercanal this morning for our Coat on Coat Off Wellbeing Walks Group. The rain held off and the sun even appeared in places. No kingfisher sightings today but beautiful swans and the moorhens with their fluffy little babies to enjoy instead. Thank you to everyone that joined us today and next week our 2 walks are around Lickfold and Lurgashall.Continuing to support our charity of the month Friends of Chichester HospitalsVisit www.coatoncoatoffwetfeet.uk for the full details. What a lovely surprise it was to come home to afte What a lovely surprise it was to come home to after a visit to lay flowers for Grandad tonight. A precopy of my new book Coat on Coat Off Muddy Boots ready for me to check before printing.

I forget how I felt last time seeing my book in print, and today I had that same excited feeling and a sadness at the same time as I know it would never have been written if I hadnt of lost my Grandad. This hopefully makes him proud.

My book this time is dedicated to Andrew Claydon and shares many wonderful memories of local people including Andy who we have lost over the last few years as well as many Sussex locations, people and groups.

Enjoy my routes, my adventures and hopefully you will be inspired too and get out on your own adventures, maybe even try some of #thesussexhospicestrail

Available from Saturday May 16th with £1 being donated to Midhurst Palliative Care and £1 to Friends of Sussex Hospices .

This is a very thick book, and plenty of easy reading pages, actually 382 pages to keep you entertained :)

For now though its a few days of reading it all again before I press that #publish button! #happyreading
