The Longer Petworth Park Circular

Approx.12km (7 miles)

Middle of December, and a chilly winters day, I decided that I would take a route down memory lane, walking around the longer circular route of Petworth Park, a 700-acre Deer Park.

The sun was trying to find its way through the clouds, and it was going to be a nice dry day, which made a change as at this point as I had been fed up with walking in rain, puddles, and thick mud. Parking up at Rotherlea Nursing Home, as I popped in to see grandad before I went, I headed up to the side entrance of the park by the Cricket Club on the Tillington Road.
